Keith Swinton of Australia won his first Alpari World Match Racing Tour event in St. Moritz, Switzerland, on Sept. 2. over former champion Mathieu Richard of France. Bjorn Hansen (SWE) retains the top overall spot in the tour, while Ian Williams (GBR) keeps second going into the next stop in Marseilles on Sept. 24. Summer Spotlight: Collin Weston

**School is out for the summer, and so is college sailing. Without a detailed practice and regatta schedule, young sailors across the country have to find alternative ways to keep their skills sharp and their sunglass tans sharper. We caught up with a handful of students to find out what they’re doing during these sunny months, ensuring that at least a few memories of Summer 2012 will outlast Orientation Week. **

Great Lakes International Challenge Cup

Rochester Yacht Club’s Match Racing Regatta, also known as the Great Lakes International Challenge Cup, took place on June 15-17. The Challenge Cup was hosted in conjunction with Dave Perry coaching an advanced Match Racing Clinic. 10 teams representing 4 countries were present for 5 days of sailing near the Port of Rochester on Lake Ontario. Although Dave Perry led in the standings at the end of Day 1, Terry McLaughlin finally pulled ahead with 9 points over Perry’s 8, with Peter Wickwire losin
