In a light easterly–and under threatening skies that were all bark and no bite–17 classes got in two or three races on the first day of the Lands’ End Annapolis NOOD. Understanding the current proved vital for John Edwards’ Rhumb Punch, which won both races in the J/29 class.

A Pyle of Fun at San Diego NOOD

Kelp killed Chick and Alexis Pyle’s Kea on Friday, but nothing was able to stop them on Sunday, the final day of the 2005 Lands’ End San Diego NOOD. The local team took the Beneteau 36.7 North American championship and was named the overall winner of the NOOD Regatta.
