Four MOD70s, including Yann Guichard’s Spindrift Racing, compete in the Route des Princes, a stage race over 3,045 nautical miles between Valencia and the Bay of Morlaix via Lisbon, Dublin-Dún Loaghaire, and Plymouth.
The MOD70 Spindrift capsized during the Route des Princes offshore race, shattering the mast and sending skipper Yann Guichard’s brother Jacques to the hospital with a broken pelvis.

Ingrid Abery shares photos from Gaastra PalmaVela 2013. The 16 boats in the Maxi, Mini Maxi, and Wally classes, raced near Cap Enderrocat, on the side of the Bay of Palma.
