Come and Party with Us at The Sperry Lounge!
The Sperry Lounge….no leisure suits required. The Sperry Lounge will be located in the ballroom during the NOOD parties (see schedule below). Now not only can you purchase cool new gear at the party, but you can sit back and relax with Sperry. And the best part is….you can relax in style while watching all the action from the day on the race course in the Sperry Video Footage.
Sperry Video Footage…yep, race course action brought to you by your friends at Sperry Top-Sider. You asked for it and you got it. As a direct result of your participation in the NOOD Survey, we heard that you wanted to see footage of the day’s racing and Sperry answered the call. Very exciting!
Sperry Speed Pass…the ultimate daily prize. At the end of the race day, the leading boat in each class will be awarded the Sperry Speed Pass. This pass allows you to use the Speed Pass Bar located in the Sperry Lounge and bypass those pesky lines at the other bars, just like your boat speed allowed you to bypass those pesky competitors.
Happy Hour with Chuck Allen
North Sails Client Services is an added bonus to our Friday night Happy Hour. We are happy to have Chuck Allen from North Sails presenting an after racing debriefing on what really happened on the race course on Friday. Chuck and his team will have shots from a variety of angles to aid in a discussion on rig tuning, crew weight placement, etc. Chuck will focus on the J/70 fleet as they are our largest fleet, but the information will be valuable to all.Check out Chuck’s tips on how to get the right angles when capturing your onboard sail-trim photos. Planning a crew dinner?
We highly suggest planning your crew dinner to plan for Friday night. Our Friday night Happy Hour (and a half) is from 5:30-7:00 with snacks and free pour while North Sails provides hot tips to go fast. This leaves lots of time to go out to dinner afterwards. You don’t want to miss the Saturday night NOOD party from 5:30-8:30 with a hearty BBQ meal and live music.
The Parkshore Grill has even offered a free dessert to anyone wearing their NOOD wristband with the purchase of an entree. Isn’t that sweet (pun intended)? Reservations are highly recommended.
And Cerviche advises to keep your wristband on for a complimentary glass of sangria when you spend $20 or more.
