Less than 24 hours into Leg 2, the Velux 5 Oceans race is one boat short. On Sunday night, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, who tussled with race leader Bernard Stamm during the start in Fremantle, Australia only hours before, was forced to turn back to execute further repairs to his troubled autopilot system.Having successfully repaired his autopilots, Knox-Johnston must remain in port the mandatory 48 hours and will rejoin the race on Tuesday night.Meanwhile, out on the racecourse, Stamm has rounded Cape Leeuwin and is on his way back into the depths of the Southern Ocean. He holds an 87-mile lead over Kojiro Shiraishi, who is trailed by Graham Dalton, the only Open 50 sailor in the fleet. For more Velux news, click here.
