Day 2 had scorching highs around 84˚ and relatively light breeze that led to a mid-afternoon postponement. Racing restarted around 3 p.m. and wrapped up a little after 6 p.m. The teams that fought out the competition for the top four spots were College of Charlestown, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Boston College, and Hobart and William Smith.

St. Mary’s College of Maryland showed their team racing talent early in the day, and finished up in a threatening second in the Gold Fleet standings after Day 2.
College of Charlestown battled it out in the tough Gold Fleet for the top seed going into Day 3.
Hobart and William Smith battled it out for the last spot in the Final Four, edging out Roger Williams and Brown University.
The University of Wisconsin dominated the Silver Fleet, winning all of their races with 1,2 combos.
